Your role in our mission

Innovation begins with design and leads to solutions that help our clients deliver better health and human services outcomes. In this position you will:

  • Will participate as a member of the cycle support team. Applies growing technical knowledge to provide first-level troubleshooting of technical systems using documentation and learned procedures.
  • Help design, develop, install, test and document applications software — including server, client and web components
  • Play a role in the design, documentation and delivery of technical architecture solution components
  • Build the connections between application architects and developers to ensure the accuracy of design requirements and deliver ROI for clients 
  • Focus on the details as you help define and develop project requirements, functional specs and application solution designs for clients using the proper development methodologies and industry standards
  • Play a role in developing technical documentation and test plans, and support integration and deployment
  • Be part of a team of software developers who are helping advance Gainwell and client objectives

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience writing code using languages such as (but not limited to) Java, C, C++, C#, VB.Net, Bash, SQL.
  • Basic understanding of RDBMS databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, and PL/SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoSys, IWS, UNIX command-line tools, bash scripting, and Windows administration.
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms, such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
  • A team player with strong, effective written and oral communication skills with clients and more senior leaders.

What you should expect in this role

  • Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
  • This is a hybrid position in Tallahassee, FL.
  • Cycle Monitor must be willing to do 24x7 rotating Shift Work – 3 daily shifts and weekends, 40 hours per week, and some overtime; a typical shift would be Thursday – Sunday, 10 hours per day.

The pay range for this position is $41,500.00 - $59,300.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
